I have defended my MSc thesis!

Abstracting Failures Away From Stateful Dataflow Systems

1 min read

I have just defended my MSc thesis, “Abstracting Failures Away From Stateful Dataflow Systems.” It was a very pleasant process, although (as always) I was a bit too nervous, especially in the beginning. The room which was initially assigned for the defense had a broken screen, so we had to move to another room right before the defense; which I guess added to my stress.

You can find the slides of my presentation here and the presentation itself here. I will add a link to the thesis itself here as soon as it is published.

Thanks everyone who supported me during this journey! Especially my supervisors, Philipp Haller and Jonas Spenger. I am also grateful to everyone who attended the defense, especially to the examiner, Roberto Guanciale, and the opponent, Gustav Andersson Kasche. It was extremely pleasant to hear such a warm feedback and thoughtful questions from you.
